Hi, I'm Jalpa — most people call me Jolly
Jolly Creative Nest started as hand-painted gifts for family and friends — a nameplate for a cousin's new home, a set of diyas for Diwali, a frame for a friend's wedding. Word spread, and what began at a kitchen table turned into a small studio, now working with families across both India and Canada.
Every piece is still hand-painted from scratch. Mandala borders, paisley detailing, and folk-art motifs are worked in by hand, and no two nameplates come out quite the same — because they're never really about the object. They're about the name, the date, or the story behind them.

Nearly everything made here carries a name, a date, or a detail specific to the person it's for.
Rooted in tradition
Mandala, paisley, and folk-art motifs run through the work, drawn from the same traditions the festivals themselves come from.

Workshops exist because craft is meant to be passed on, not kept to one table.
